[Fsf-friends] Something About SLYNUX

Hello Sarath,
You can be proud of the work done regardless of it's profile. I have
been reading all the postings with regards to SLYNUX. It's never a
small job to customize a distro. A complete user-friendly GNU/Linux is
our aim too. We are also working on similar projects. However don't be
disappointed on the negative comments by the (some) FSF people, because
they don't know to appreciate a work or a person.

I havn't worked with your distro yet, but have some suggestions. Instead
of promoting proprietary formats like MPEG, MP3 etc..., you may use OGG
Tarkin, OGG Vorbis, OGG Theora etc... These all are multimedia file
formats which comes under Free Software. Give complete support to Free
formats and promote .

But for the time-being, you may concentrate on your forthcoming exams and
perform well. I think you will be getting a long vacation after the exams.
So there is plenty of time coming for your FS experiments.
GOOD LUCK

regards
Manilal
